What is a Nageela Shabbaton?

A Shabbaton is an overnight retreat that brings kids and teens together for a Shabbat weekend. Nageela Shabbatons take place throughout the year in different communities across the country and sometimes even in camp! In many ways, a Shabbaton is a mini camp experience, where old friends reunite and new campers join our Nageela family.

At a Shabbaton, campers enjoy a well-structured and enjoyable program. The day is filled with games and activities that are both engaging and entertaining. Delicious meals with many traditional Shabbat favorites are served (special dietary needs can usually be accommodated if arranged beforehand). Saturday night typically features an exciting trip to end the weekend.
